Part of WSU’s V. Lane Rawlins Research and Education Complex, this new building houses state-of-the-art equipment and scientists who will conduct research that will benefit agriculture for decades to come.
I was honored to speak at the virtual commencement along with WSU President Kirk Schulz, Dean André-Denis Wright, as well as industry representatives, scientists, and more.
Scientists from four different departments in WSU’s College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences will engage in research and discovery in the Plant Sciences Building, working on subjects that range from how plants interact with soil and grow, to addressing specific challenges faced by Washington’s agricultural industries, such as fighting specific pathogens impacting growers.
